NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

NAMI Connection is a free and confidential recovery support group program that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope to those living with a mental illness.

It is designed to connect, encourage, and support participants using a structured support group model led by trained facilitators living in recovery themselves.


It is held on the first and third Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

 

The 1st Wednesday support group is held on Zoom

 

The 3rd Wednesday is held in person in the Conference Room at our office:

164 North L Street

 Livermore, CA 94550.

If there is a 5th Wednesday in the month, the meeting is also held at our office.

Family/Caregiver Support Group

This is a peer facilitated informal open-agenda format group for parents, spouses, siblings, and friends of adults with or suspected of having mood or psychiatric disorders. Resources, information about disorders, education and advocacy skills are also provided.

Every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Please Note: Unless otherwise indicated, the 2nd Monday group is hybrid - both Zoom and in person in the Conference Room at our office:

Livermore, CA 94550.

 

The 4th Monday group is Zoom only.

If you are new to the support group, please contact Marsha McInnis by phone, text or email to receive the Zoom link. To keep the meeting confidential, the Zoom link changes each time a Family Support Group is held.

Parent Resource & Support Group

 until further notice)*****

This is a peer parent facilitated informal open-agenda format group for parents, grandparents, adoptive and foster parents raising children/adolescents up to age 17 diagnosed with or suspected of having behavioral, mood or psychiatric disorders.

Resources, information about child/adolescent disorders and advocacy are also provided.
