May General Meeting: Dr. Jennifer Penney

During our May General Meeting, Dr. Jennifer Penney will talk about Axis Community Health’s newest clinic at 1686 Second Street in Livermore and her role as the Chief Integration Officer at Axis Community Health. The clinic features medical, dental, mental health, and enrollment services, designed to be under one roof to better serve Axis’ patients. Axis is a nonprofit healthcare provider that offers affordable services for uninsured and low-income residents in the Tri-Valley.

Dr. Penney has dedicated over 11 years to Axis Community Health. She currently oversees Behavioral Health services, as well as operations for specialty services, WIC, and programs supporting the unhoused. With more than 15 years of management experience, she has played a key role in strategic operations and innovative programming. Throughout her career, Dr. Penney has also provided clinical services, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her leadership in community health.
